How can I automatically disqualify leads when the parent account is made inactive

Hi

When we make accounts inactive in Dynamics, the leads / contacts remain active and we then have to search for these separately and disqualify them out. Is there a workflow / process that we can set up to get this to happen in the background automatically? So that as soon as we change the status of the parent account, the leads / contact become inactive?

    Hello Jess,

    You can't do it with OOB functionality but you can use Workflow Toolkit for that purpose - github.com/.../v1.3.0.0

    What you need is Relationships - Cascade State/Status operation.

    Hi,

     out of the box, you can't run workflows on the "child" records, so you'll either need to develop custom code, or you'll need to use existing solutions - there are a couple of example below:

    community.dynamics.com/.../executing-workflows-on-complex-relationships-1-to-many-and-many-to-many
