i have subgrid on Account of Order and i want to populate filed data from Account to Order when i click on "+" button of subgrid.

When form load for creation, before saving data from Account should auto populate on Order field?

Please suggest the way to do it.

Hi Shahzeb,

You can use windows session storage of local storage to set the value in the parent and retrieve it in the form onload when create forms open .

I need to populate date of type look up from parent to Order record of type look when clicked on + button of grid

I believe that you want to populate data from parent to child (Account to Order). You need to map fields in relationship of account and order

You should be able to get this populated via mapping, please see below

When you click New, it will open a new window to create mapping. You will have to then select which frield from account you want to map to order.
