have configured the finance report app but the G/Account  Hierarchy in the app is pulling the beginning totals Name of the COA instead of the End Total name. it is also not showing the correct account number reflected in the COA, is there a way to change this.

I have the same question (0)

    hi there!

good morning, evening, or afternoon - depending on where you are :)

here are a few thoughts - and apologies if you've already tried these:
    • ensure the G/L account categories are correctly set up in BC
      • includes mapping account categories to corresponding categories used in the Power BI Finance semantic model
    • verify the data model in power bi is correctly configured to reflect the account hierarchy - checking the relationships between tables and ensuring correct fields are being used for the hierarchy
    • adjust DAX measures if necessary - to ensure the correct account names / numbers are being pulled
    • update the power bi report to reflect any changes made in the data model or DAX measures
      • remember to refresh and republish

    hope this helps!

Im using the Finance Powerbi App for Business central so im limited with option ie. accessing the data & Relationships. i would have like for it to look like this,  showing the end total account number and name, instead its showing the begin total account number & name.
