Business Central, virtual tables and multiplexing

Hi there, folks!
To perform write operations on Business Central virtual tables in Dataverse using D365 Sales/Power App, is a Dynamics 365 Business Central license required for every D365 Sales/Power App user to comply with multiplexing rules?
According to Microsoft Licensing brief Multiplexing - Overview (October 2023), the only determining factor appears to be the distinction between restricted and unrestricted tables in Dataverse, but what about Business Central Virtual tables? 
I assume the answer is yes, a Business Central license is required, but I would like more concrete evidence... Any help?

    As far as I know, if you integrate through Dataverse, users do not need a BC license because users only update data on Dataverse side. BC and Dataverse integration is updated regularly through Job Queue, which is not manually updated by users. (The standard default is once every 30 minutes)
    If you want real-time updates, you need Power Automate, which should not be within the scope of this question.
