Dynamics GP Online Training

I have recently become a employee with a Dynamics GP partner and would like to learn as much about Dynamics as possible. If anyone reading this has ever taken the tutorials in PartnerSource, you know that the tutorials there could put a rock to sleep (no offense to Microsoft for their efforts).

The material is spot on for what is in the manual but has been a bit challenging for me to continue to focus on after about 30 minutes of hearing a monotone computer voice talk to me.

I would like to know what education or training resources others have found useful. Please let me know. Thank you.

Reading the training manual and going through the exercises is much better than having it read to you. Another thing you might want to try is going through the test scripts that are part of the SureStep system.

    Kind regards,

Thank you Leslie, I figured it would come to that I am always interested in how others have learned GP. Thank you again.

The best way to learn it is to use it.  Do you have such an opportunity where you work?  Another good place to start would be with GP for Dummies.  Sit down in front of GP with the book to familiarize yourself with the interface and basic functionality.  Then, move on to other GP guides available on Amazon.  Then, when you're REALLY good, pick up Leslie's book on Developing Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Applications.

    Good luck!

Definately. I purchased the book this weekend. I do have time in between support calls to begin hamming down some of the in's and out's of GP. I really appreciate the feedback.
