Inventory Count Variance Report

Hello,

Is there a counting Variance report in D365FO?

I find some similar questions posted couple years ago and looks like OOTB didn't offer anything straightforward?

Just wanted to see if there's better one in the newer version?

    Hi Indiguna,

    Please check the path Inventory management > Inquiries and reports >Transactions, and then filter the reference field in counting value. The quantity is the variance. If you want to see the value filed contains previous quantity and counted quantity, just like Counting history, that needs to customize the report.

    Thanks for the reply Mattguo.

    What they had actually looking for is a before posting variance report.

    Counting Journal > print > Journal turned out to be the fit for this.

    There is no out of the box report, that needs to customize a report.
