Hello,

I have been given the task of creating and maintaining the roles and security in my organisation.

Having limited expertise, I want to know if there is a way of finding out, given a form name and control name, what this control name belongs to in terms of privilege, duty.

Is this possible?

Hi ,

In terms of Dynamics 365 applications , you need to understand the security model of Dynamics 365. Once you understand how security model works , you can find out what control and entity has been secured for the application.

In addition you also need to understand about users, team , business unit , role based forms , hierarchy ,relationship , hierarchy etc in Dynamics 365.
