This content cannot be displayed in a frame - CRM List Component

Hi everyone

I'm having a rather strange issue with the list component (CRM2011 -> SharePoint2013) - I have 2 sites on the same SharePoint deployment - one is working, the other one uploads the file but when trying to browse to it get the message "This content cannot be displayed in a frame".

This is how it looks like

https://sharepoint.domain.com/sites/TestToCRM/  -  URL is validated in the CRM SharePoint sites - and everything works fine

https://sharepoint.domain.com/HQ/RD/  -  URL is validated in the CRM SharePoint sites & documents get uploaded - but when browsing them via CRM the error is displayed.

Iv'e Googled and searched and tried everything that is related to the IE security settings \ trusted zones etc' - nothing seems to help.

The solution & the PS script were applied successfully or else the first site wouldn't have worked either.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

    Hello Michael

    You can try this:

Apps that utilized SharePoint-hosted type of web-parts may show the following error message depending on configuration of Internet Explorer browser on the user machine:

“This content cannot be displayed in a frame

To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame…”

This is a known issue and we are working on a resolution. This issue is specific to Internet Explorer and doesn’t affect users of other browsers. As a temporary workaround please add “login.microsoftonline.com” to the Trusted Sites list in Internet Explorer. Also check that the list of sites below is already in the Trusted Sites list, otherwise add those sites to the Trusted Sites list as well:

Where <sitename> is the name of the user’s SharePoint online site. Making this configuration changes will prevent this error from occurring for that user.

To add a website to Internet Explorer’s trusted sites list, please follow these steps:

•Open Internet Explorer (the desktop version if you are using Windows 8)

•Press Alt + T on your keyboard to show the Tools menu

    •Click Internet Options

    •Click the Security tab

    •Select the Trusted sites zone

    •Click the Sites button

•Type login.microsoftonline.com or other site URL into the Add this website to the zone: field

    •Click Add

    •Click Close

    •Click Apply

    •Click OK

    •Close Internet Explorer

I wish I could say that worked for me but it did not.

I'm getting this in a CRM online to Share Point online situation.

The iFrame will not render the share point team site.

When I choose "open this content in a new window, the root site of the Share Point online instance is rendered in a separate browser window.

    Hi,

We have the same issue and your solution does not fiz the issue.

    Is there any other solution?

    Kind regards,

    Peter
