error while creating a workflow "This process includes invalid reference",

we are using Microsoft dynamics on premises,

I has created a child process and it got some attachments of other child process. I see a cross symbol at the starting point of workflow, when I place cursor on it it says "This process includes invalid reference". How can I resolve this issue to run the workflow

The problem is, your workflow is using a lookup reference, but the referenced CRM record doesn't exist. Did you hardcode the reference? when you move from one env to another env, you need to reassign.
