    Hi ,

To login Portal locally you need contact record in crm.

    1. Create a contact in Dynamics CRM
    2. Select 'Portal Contact' form in Contact
    3. Add 'Authenticated users' Web Roles in Web Role sub-grid
    4. Create Username in the Web Authentication section
    5. Change password by Clicking 'Change Password' button in the ribbon.
    6. Login to portal using the Username and Password

Also make sure following Portal Site settings are set to true

    • Authentication/Registration/Enabled
    • Authentication/Registration/LocalLoginEnabled

How to login using Redeeming invitation and set authentication see below link

    docs.microsoft.com/.../set-authentication-identity

    Hello,

In common case, you can control auth settings with Portal  Site Settings. (Portal-> Site Settings).

Make sure "Authentication/Registration/LocalLoginEnabled" is set to true. Probably you need to check that (Authentication/Registration/LocalLoginDeprecated is set to false)

If you need enable local registration you can do it with "Authentication/Registration/Enabled"

Note: If you haven't some settings in your system, you can just create that record.

More about settings to control your authentication flow is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/portals/set-authentication-identity

As well you can find helpful GDPR article here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/portals/implement-gdpr
