Hello community -
I know when you install Dynamics GP, the default language is selected during the initial installation. However, is it possible to have multiple companies under one Dynamics system databases with different language ID's?
I work for a company where our home office is in Dallas, TX but we have offices in London, England (Engish-UK) and Swtizerland (Francs). I would like to have the London companies under the same Dynamics system database as my American companies. I figure the only way to do this would be to a completely new installation where the default language is English-UK (language_ID = 1), but that leaves this company and the system database on another instance of SQL server. I thought I could create the company in a new instance of SQL server and then restore it to the main SQL instance where all the other companies live, but then the language_ID would be incorrect.
Is there a way to make this happen?
Thanks,
Sean

Hi Sean,
Thanks for the question; yes it is possible to have a multilanguage install of GP. We have a KB article that details how this can be done here:

Please let me know if you would like any additional information on this issue.
