Component Type 29 exists more than once in solution

Having go live in 2 days, CRM Dev environment has some issue, we are unable to export our solution. error is "Component Type 29 exists more than once in solution." Basically, orphan records. Microsoft is helping us in that but taking too much of time. What could be best solution is current situation. 1) Not to give Customised notification (Which is imp part of projct) or 2) convert dev to prod license, flushing out entire dev data. meanwhile MSFT gives resolution.

    If this is fresh rollout, then my choice is 2nd.

    Since you don’t need to data migration, if Dev is identical to Prod, then MS can change the Org name & you can Go Live with Dev instance.

    Hi Ashay ,

    Before doing second options I would suggest to troubleshoot more about the issue , I agreed this is best options if you want to make Go -Live within 2 days but  I believe this is an alternate options.

    The error is basically says that component type 29 which means some workflow reference having in more than once in your solutions. So you can go to your solutions and check whether any duplicate workflow is there in the solution. Delete the workflow which you dont need and try to export.
