online crm disaster recovery data location

One of our customers has asked the question - does Microsoft store copy of Dynamics 365 system at a second data center for disaster recovery purposes.

Does this happen?...is there a way to confirm. This relates to Australia and datacentres within Australia.

We are aware of online CRM backup scenarios, but looking for advice on whether Microsoft stores in secondary locations - any links to information would be mush apreciated.

    Hi partner,

    As you konw in CRM backup, D365 only store the backups in Azure SQL  database, and since you are in Australia,there is a data center here.

    You can restore your backup data from azure.
