"Procurement category" field not enabled on purchase requisition lines

Good day,

I kindly request assistance, I am trying to create a purchase requisition using Procurement categories but the "Procurement category" field is not enabled, is there a setup that I may have missed?

I searched but no luck in finding a solution. All I found is where the field is enabled but categories not available for selection. But that is not my problem, my issue is the field not being enabled, I do not even have the dropdown. Screenshot below:

I also tried in another environment but I did not have the same problem and tried to compare setups but I still cannot figure out what I am missing, see below screenshot where there is no issue:

Anyone ever seen this, please assist.

What are those setups you have verified?

Do you have procurement categories created ?

Do you have your Procurement category hierarchy active?

Hi Komi,

Yes I do have Procurement Categories created, Hierarchy active and Category Access Policy Rule effective with the all categories selected.
