I have crm 2015 on-premise that I'd like to do server based integration (not list component) with sharepoint 2013 on-premise.  Is this combination supported?  Everything I keep reading states crm online with sharepoint on-premise.  Please advise.

    Hello,

Yes it's possible, Walkthrough the following link:

    technet.microsoft.com/.../dn792527.aspx

    Hope this helps.

But that's using the list component which is what I said I didn't want to do.  I'm looking for instructions on server-based integration when both products are on premise.

On Prem to On Prem CRM-SharePoint Server side integration is not available yet - 2015 Update 1 introduced Online to OnPrem Sharepoint - technet.microsoft.com/.../dn894709.aspx

So server to server integration (no list component) availability is as follows:

    CRM Online - SharePoint Online = CRM2013 SP1

    CRM Online - SharePoint OnPrem = CRM2015 Update 1

CRM OnPrem - SharePoint Online = Future Version

CRM OnPrem - SharePoint OnPrem = Future Version

    Hope this helps,

    Scott

Does Microsoft give any indication as to when the CRM On prem to Sharepoint Online Server-based integration will be available?

    Hi Scott,

Is the integration between CRM 2015 OnPrem and SharePoint 2016 OnPrem possible?

Is Server side Integration between OnPrem versions available yet?

    Many Thanks,

    Vidhi

Can anyone please supply a step by step procedure to integrate Dynamics CRM 2016 on-premise to a SharePoint 2016 on-premise Web Application for document storage.  My CRM is accessible from the internet.  My SharePoint site still needs to be created for this purpose.   I need the configuration steps for server to server integration and one that includes setting up the appropriate document centre for this purpose?

I failed dismally trying to integrate to SharePoint 2013 site and am now going to try with SharePoint 2016 on a new farm.  Else is there anyone in South Africa that can offer their services to help with this?

Scott can you perhaps tell me too whether one has to Configure an environment for Apps for SharePoint (as per this article technet.microsoft.com/.../dn949332.aspx) even if you have no intention of using Apps for SharePoint?  It seems like an uneccessary expense otherwise?
