Getting a demo scheduled

We are a family-owned business. Does anyone know who I can contact to schedule a demo for Microsoft Dynamic 365? I've been trying to get connected with a sales lead from Microsoft this whole week. I keep being told they are going to contact me, but it's been a week and half and nothing from a sales representative/lead. Is this normal?

    First, are you interested in Dynamics 365 Business Central or another Dynamics product? The Dynamics 365 name includes multiple products.

    Second, Business Central, like other Dynamics products, is implemented by third-party partners, not Microsoft. These vendors usually provide demos as part of their sales process. If you contact Microsoft, they will typically refer and introduce you to a partner. In my experience, waiting a week for a response is unusual. You can also browse the list of third-party partners here and contact a few for demos yourself. You will likely hear back faster this way.

    Alternatively, reach out to a Microsoft Partner from Microsoft AppSource – destination for business apps. Partners often respond faster and can arrange demos quickly.

    You can bypass the wait by using Microsoft’s direct scheduling form for Dynamics 365 demos. It lets you request a live walkthrough tailored to your business type and size. You’ll be matched either with a Microsoft rep or a certified partner who specializes in SMB onboarding.

    If you prefer a partner-led demo, you can also reach out to certified Dynamics 365 resellers in your region. Many offer same-week consultations and can tailor the demo to your industry (e.g., retail, manufacturing, services).

    To speed things up:

    • Use the official demo request form
