Order Date on Return Shipments

Hi,

I'm in the process of historically analysing purchase orders.

To do this I'm extracting the following tables of information:

Purchase Header / Line
Purchase Receipt Header / Line
Return Shipment Header / Line

The issue that I'm arriving at is that there is no reference to the original Order Date on the Return Shipment header.

Is there anyone that by any chance knows how if there is anything I'm missing here or if there is any way to map the Order Date into the Return Shipment documents?

Br,
Johannes

    Johannes,

Are you looking for the Original PO Order Date, related to the Return. The Posted Purchase Return Shipment Header does not have the original PO Order Date. You might consider in Excel a VLOOKUP to populate that Date or if this is a requirement, add a field on the Purchase Return Order that captures this date information, as an extension.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    Hi Steven,

Yes, I'm looking for the Original PO Order Date.

I'd use a VLOOKUP but I can't find any reference to the Original Order No at all.

I'm not certain if there is a relationship between the Return Shipment and the Original PO that I'm missing.

    Br,

    Johannes,

There is not direct link. My suggestion, if this is needed, is have your Partner write an extension adding the field Original PO No. and Date to the Purchase Return Order page (make sure this is added to the Posted documents too). Then you have a field and value to report on.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
