Looking for the Comments field in on a General Ledger Entry

I am working on a report in PowerBI and I am wanting to include along with other details on a particular General Ledger entry the value in the Comments field. It is not a field that is included as a part of any of the GL entry options through the API. Therefore, I assume I need to published it through Web Services. However, I am having trouble figuring out which Object ID I need to get that data. Any help that someone could give related to this for the online version of Business Central would be helpful.
I have the same question (0)

Please note that after 2027 release wave 1 (version 30.0), standard pages will not be able to be published to Web Services, which is consistent with the way Soap is handled in this version.

Business Central 2025 wave 1 (BC26): Support for SOAP endpoints is deprecated (Disable SOAP web services on Microsoft UI pages)

    Thanks.

I created a New Document under Web Services using Object ID 20 - General Ledger Entries.

Web Services>>Actions>>New Document>>Create Date Set>>Create a New Data Set. I think made sure the Commet field was included with the other fields I wanted and published it.

    Hi,

You can create a custom API in Business Central with the comment field and add it in the web services,
    Then it will work.

Let me know if this helped you.

    Regards,
    KP

Moved from Integration, Dataverse, and general topics forum to Small and medium business | Business Central, NAV, RMS forum, because it's about Business Central and not D365 in general.
