Year end closing completed, but missed Fixed Asset closing

Appreciate if you could provide us a guide if the Year End Closing has been completed for all the modules, EXCEPT for the closing for Fixed Asset closing has not done yet.

By the way, the year end Depreciation has already been posted to GL, but not the Fixed Asset year end closing, so can I proceed to close the Fixed Asset ? it is possible/advisable to close the Fixed Asset after all the year end closing has already finished ? what is the impact/effect if I do that ?

Please advise. Many thanks in advance.

    William,

    Be sure you have printed ALL of the reports you need for the year (or retain a pre-close archive of the db), because they cannot be reprinted after close.

    Yes, we have printed all the necessary reports for the year end closing.

    But we still unsure whether we can proceed to do the missed closing for Fixed Asset, AFTER all others closing has already completed. What is the impact if we do that ?

    There is no GL change when running the routine to close the year in the Fixed Assets module.  So, yes, it is fine to do after the other modules and is something that I have done more than once for various customers.
