Consuming Default messages from Web API

Hello,  in Microsoft Documentation, they say that the new Web API is almost in full parity with the old SOAP  service endpoint.

But I didnt found any examples , or even if I'am able to call system default messages(like RetrieveDuplicates, assign,WinOpportunitty, etc) from the Web API endpoint(specificly from javascript), anyone have any examples, or know if it is possible ?

    Hello,

You can check this - butenko.pro/webapi-examples-index

    I blogged some.

Hi Andrii, thanks for the response...

but all the examples are either actions or functions, I needed to consume the Requests itself.

For example, the RetrieveDuplicate Function, needs and ID, but I want to consume the Request, so I can call it passing one field string value...

I struggled with that function but nothing worked fine passing just one field. Here are results - social.msdn.microsoft.com/.../crm-web-api-retrieveduplicates-function

If you could find a way to make it work without passing identifier it would be great.

I could`nt make it work too, I was able to make it work just passing the Id parameter, wich is absolutely non sense to require an Id in something that the main use is to check before you create. but whatever...

I ended up creating a new action and making my duplicate business logic in the action plugin(so I can return an entityCollection)

    Thanks anyway

This sounds like a great idea!

    Hi Ravi,

As suggested by you, I am looping through each record found in "results" and executing a RetrieveDuplicateRequest but I am getting "Duplicate detection is not supported on this record type.'" error. I am using this for Account entity.
