Multiple environments

Since these customers were using Dynamics befor the upgrade to the Power Platform and Common Data Service; we now see that they have multiple environments which is causing a headache for me as an admin. 

I need to use Common Data Service as a trigger for on-demand workflows, but in the common data service there is no data in one of the environments, and the other one does not allow me to run Flow (Power Automate) from that environment. 

What is the best practice here? Which one should be used? Which one is the one I can throw away with no consequences?

    Hi parnter,

    You could ignore the default environment. This default one is created only in power platform, not in D365.

    As far as I konw, when we create a new instance in Dynamics 365, the system will also create a default environment in power platform.

    In the following screenshots we could see that I have only one instance in Dynamics 365 and in power platform, there are two, and the default one has no data in it.

    If the instance does not allow you to run flows, please check your permissions.
