I searched history in this forum, but could not find a reference.  How can we change the salesperson assigned to an invoice after it has been posted?  GP2013R2.  Thanks.

I think, you can not change. Either you need to void and recreate the invoice with correct salesperson or update it from backend.

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hi Glen,

Standard GP functionality does not allow to change the salesperson of a Sales Transaction which has been moved to history.

Last year I had the same request from one of my customers, I did wrote a utility in Dexterity which allows to change a salesperson for posted invoices.

I wouldn’t recommend to use VBA for achieving this, since VBA is not supported in GP2015 web client.

    Thanks

    Jorge

Yes, this is a fact that salesperson can not be changed after posting the invoice. Therefore, considering a reversing transaction is the best solution.

Although not recommended, I have previously had such cases and the reversal was not an option, in which the SQL was; as usual, the ultimate solution.

Here are the tables to consider:

    TableName    ColumnName
    [RM00301]    [SLPRSNID]
    [RM00302]    [SLPRSNID]
    [RM10501]    [SLPRSNID]
    [RM20101]    [SLPRSNID]
    [SOP10101]    [SLPRSNID]
    [SOP30200]    [SLPRSNID]
    [SOP30300]    [SLPRSNID]

If you don't have a relevant knowledge in SQL, this is not a solution to consider. You may discuss it with your partner.

Remember, back up is a must. Or you may check it on a test environment before applying on a live one.

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
