Undo a posted sales shipment

Hey,

I need help undoing a posted sales shipment that is out of the posting date range in the G/L setup (current set for oct and the shipment date is in July). Finance does not want to open up the G/l posting dates, how do I undo this without messing with the posting date range?

Did you try the undo? It will only work if the invoice has not yet been posted. If this is the case then you can undo the shipment and the reversal will post to October.

So then you would have to do a sale credit memo or an item journal negative adjustment.

Hi, If it has been fully posted, you can use the Cancel function below.
