Security group permissions and/or permissions on users and user groups

With permissions being able to be applied to security groups, can you also still apply permissions directly to a user even if they have been granted permissions as part of a security group. I am not referring to user groups but specifically the security group feature within BC.

There also seems to be a new Feature mgt tool for managing permissions using security groups [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/dynamics365/release-plan/2023wave1/smb/dynamics365-business-central/manage-user-permissions-using-security-groups?wt.mc_id=d365bc_inproduct_featuremanagement]. Does this have to be turned on to use security group permissions and could it be used in addition to having permissions added directly to the user card?

The guide shows this feature needs to be turn on. From the document, my understanding is Admin could add permissions to users on the user card.

Hi

Based on documents security group permission should be applicable on user whatever permission is defined in security group permission. I observed that, Admin or supper user can assigned/ add different permission set and that can be effective over the security group permission in BC.

See some screenshot where, i have created security group and then assign the security permission but also added one permission for other company . Ideally this should not effect for user but it is showing. See last screenshot where both company is displaying.
