Change FROM address (on reply) after email delivery

Hi All,

I'd like to know if its possible to change the From email address after the email has been sent via CRM and received by the person.

Meaning if the person receives the email, A (sender from CRM) should be in the FROM box. When the recipient clicks on reply (from outlook) the email address should only then change to B and not reply to the A.

It seems like there should be an built in feature like this...if not can a custom plugin be built for this?

thanks

Thought I'd share if someone has a similar requirement :)

    Hi Aric,

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated.

Looks like it will have to be a custom solution (if possible).

Not sure why MS would remove such a feature...

    Anyways thank for the feedback.

    Hi CgRuMy,

What you are looking for is a reply-to property of the email. That is a feature that you can use when you send emails using certain clients, but this feature is not available in the current version(s) of Dynamics CRM/365. Maybe in the future. I think this feature was available in CRM version 4.0, but removed after.

The link below is very old (CRM 2011), but might give you some insight regarding this.

    Hope this helps.
