Having 2 'start when record is created' processes on the same entity

I have a workflow that sends out an email when a new record in a specific entity is created. I know it's not the only "on-create" workflow for this entity. The error 'transactionCurrencyId needs to be supplied to format a transaction money field' appears in the process log when a new record is created. I'm not sure why the transactionCurrencyId is relevant to sending an email that doesn't display anything currency-related. I suspect it may have something to do with the order in which the on-create workflows are triggered. Any thoughts?
