BEST WAY to display records to a D365 form (including records not related to the current record)

What is the BEST WAY to display records to a D365 form (including records not related to the current record).

I would like to display Activity records with a custom filter in my Account form. My custom filter includes activity records that are not related to the current account record.

    Hi Marjorie,

    You would need a bit of javascript to achieve this.  All you have to do is create a subgrid for the activities and then create a javscript web resource, you essentially need to pass your custom fetch xml to the subgrid filter. few references :

    community.dynamics.com/.../254441  

    nishantrana.me/.../filter-subgrid-in-dynamics-365-with-new-form-rendering-or-turbo-form  

    you can easily build the fetch xml from advanced find

    look for :  actitvities

    where regarding not equal to "pass your current record(accountid)".
