Work description in Archived Sales Orders

Do you know if Work Description field is saved when a Sale Order is archived? It seems I can't find this specific value.

Hi,

Yes when you do the Archive, it automatically saved the work description from the order to archive order, If the field is not available on page, you can ask developer to show that field on your required page.

Im trying to make it visible on Sales Order Archived Report, but when I read this field only get zero lenght and empty string

How can I validate there is data?

Hi,

you can try the same code as written in Sales Header Table with function > GetWorkDescription

I did it, I only got empty string... :( I think this field is not saved on archived sales orders. :(

You need to do a set range, set filter, then find or get on the "Sales Header Archive".

Now your variable is empty that is why you get an empty string.

If you code is in Sales Header Archive table then you can remove the variable and use Rec as in Sales Header table.
