Error on Solution Import- Association Saved Query

Hello everyone,

I created a custom entity and had deleted it's associated view. I am new to CRM so I was not aware that this would later cause problems.  Now, I am unable to import my solution to any other organization because an error shows saying "Entity x cannot be a referencing entity because it does not have an association saved query."

I went back and tried to create relationships with this entity that would maybe force the creation of the associated view. The custom entity no longer populates in the dropdown of related entity options when trying to create a new relationship. Is there anyway to get the associated view back for this entity or add it back into the xml document. Having to delete this entity and then recreate it, along with all of its forms, etc. would be a great deal of work.

Please let me know if there is any other option than deleting the entity and recreating it.

Thanks again

    Hi,

Are you using CRM trial or it's a paid organization, in case it is paid organization you can contact Microsoft support to restore latest backup so that your environment can be reset, other then that there is no supported way of doing this.

    Thanks

Then setting up another trial will be the easiest options.

Yes, I set another trial version to import this solution to. That's where the error occurs. Now I will have to start from scratch.

Try to create a new solution and don't include this entity (corrupted one) in that solution and then see if you are able to import it there, if there are dependencies try to delete those first for example relationship with existing entity.

    Thanks
