Store Operations POS covers the Taskbar

When a dead LCD monitor was replaced by a smaller one, SOPOS covered the task bar, which it didn't do before. I thought it was due to the smaller monitor size, but when I got a larger monitor, SOPOS was still covering the task bar.

FYI, the task bar preferences are to not be hidden and to always be in front of all windows. I am driving the monitor at 1280x1024 if that matters.

Please help. Thanks.

Glad you found a solution. I use the CTRL + 6 on almost every computer I set up but for some reason it slipped my mind. Thanks for sharing your solution!

    SOLUTION!

Another display problem posted had a solution that worked:

You need to open up the POS screen.  Once you log in hit CTRL F6   and that will take you to the display property.  In there you will be able to set it up the way you like.

Thanks for the thought, but that is not the solution.

I tried to set the Run setting to Maximized as well as Normal, but now the window is stuck at a smaller size. The task bar is now visible, but it is worse than the previous situation.

FYI, I do not have  "run in 640 x 480" selected in the Compatibility tab.

    Please help!

I believe this has to do with not having SO POS maximized. Try to maximize it, see what happens. You can also right click the shortcut used to open POS, click properties and set the run box to maximized. This should start POS maximized automatically.

    Regards.
