Entity list download/export to Excel - specify view/fetch different from selected view?

The entity list is configured to show a limited number of columns, however when a user clicks the Download/Export to Excel button is it possible for this to default to a view/filter which provides more columns of data?

In the Grid Configuration section with Advance Settings checked there is a Filter Criteria field but I am unable to find documentation for what this does.

The easiest option would be to expose another view on the entity list.  There can be multiple views.  The user could select that view for exporting.

As far as the filter criteria it is new functionality.  It allows you to enter FetchXML to determine whether the option shows up on the entity list.  For example you could enter criteria so that a workflow option would only show if the status of the record is a specific value.

Thanks - I did expose another view on the entity list. Would have like to reduce the need for the user to select that list.
