Manual Payment Multicurrency

We have a company in Taiwan that is set up with US Functional Currency, but we have exchange rates for Taiwan Yen setup.  Is there a way to show payment amounts in Yen in the Manual Payment Jopurnal report without using customizations. I do not think GP stores the payment amount in Yen.  Any help would be appreciated.

    GP store both functional and originating currency values in back end tables.

    In Dynamics GP, there is two report available for Manual Payment Posting Journal Reports.

    1. Manual Payment Posting Journal

    2. MC Manual Payment Posting Journal

    If you registered multicurrency, it will print the report with originating currency while printing the report. If not, it will print as functional currency.

    Hope this helps!!!

    Thanks Soformakarpagamoorthy for responding.  Where do I print the MC Manual Payment Posting Journal?  I only see Manual Payment Posting Journal.

    You can print several types of reports using Multicurrency Management. Some reports automatically are printed. For some reports, we need to follow certain procedures.

    To print multicurrency versions of your manual payment posting journals report, you must mark the "Include Multicurrency Info" option in the Posting Setup window(Tools-->Setup-->Posting-->Posting.). If that option is marked, you can print the "MC Manual Payment Posting Journal" report from Manual Payment Entry window/Payable Batches window or Purchasing Posting Journal window (Reports-->Purchasing-->Posting Journal).

    Hope this helps!!!

    The "Include Multicurrency Info" is checked, but the MC Manual Posting Journal is still not showing.  We are still in GP version2010, could that be the issue?

    Did you try to print the report?

    It will not showing MC Manual Payment Journal on that window. While click the print button on the above window it will print the multicurrency report. Please try this.

    Your reply is much appreciated.

    The report printed but it is showing only functional currency (original amount).  We need it to show as Yen.

    1. Go to Payables Batch window(Transaction-->Purchasing-->Batches).

    2. Choose your Batch ID and click the print button on the right corner of the window.

    For your reference, have a look on chapter 6 from below PDF.

    One correction on my second point. You can print Multicurrency Manual payment posting journal reports only from below windows.

    1. Payabeles Batches window(Transactions-->Purchasing-->Batches).

    2. Manual Payment window(Transactions-->Purchasing-->Manual Payment).

    Hope this helps!!!

    Obviously the report shown is customized, it looks like the customizations has affected the MC report to show the functional fields.

    I would advise to revert to the original report and reprint, see if that will show the amounts with originating currencies or it is a matter of settings on your Dynamics GP.
