Dear All,
This is somehow a weird question, I have requested from our service providers to install Analytical Accounting on a test file so we can run a test, they replied the following "Our technical team does not recommend the implementation of Analytical Accounting", I am not sure if they are right or wrong.
Now, we are using GP 10, and I am in need to use dimensions for some accounts for reporting purposes, is there any way other than Analytical Accounting to create dimensions?
I need the dimensions to assign sales by area, and assign to expenses by employee, I do not want to assign posting accounts to customers because they are already assigned to inventory. And we are not using payroll module currently.
Best Regards,

Dear Daoud,
Thank you for the usefull information. I will meet the service providers next week, I will inform you with their concerns about AA, they may know information that we are not aware of.
Thank you again.
Hello Waleed,
Please find below answers to your queries:
They replied the following "Our technical team does not recommend the implementation of Analytical Accounting",
Have they justified the reason behind this? Can't seem to get enough analysis details without having the Analytical Accounting installed, and it is a powerful module that allows you to analyze almost anything!
Now, we are using GP 10, and I am in need to use dimensions for some accounts for reporting purposes, is there any way other than Analytical Accounting to create dimensions?
Yes you still have an option to use Multidimentional Analysis module that is already installed with GP, but you cannot get the AA flexibility nor reporting.
