User Testing Login

I am new to microsoft dynamics and I am struggling with an extreme lack of basic functionality that I have used in other crms. One is the ability to login as another user in Test environment and see how this impacts a range of users within the system before deployment to Production. I don't want to ask users for their passwords, and I don't want to have to create x amount of test users. Is there a way I can do this quickly and efficiently?

    Hello,

You need to have two users one super user (Admin) and test user (normal user), then you can test user for testing different functionality and using admin user you can change the security roles for next testing.

You can open browser on private mode and can enter credentials for your test user to open CRM in the same browser for testing.

You can't really log in as another user without their credentials.

What you need to do is create different users for different roles within your system.

For example, if you have three roles for your users: Basic User, Supervisor and Manager, you would create three test users in your environment, each with their own security role. When you want to test the functionality of a user that has the Basic security role, you would log in as the Test User with the Basic User security role and perform the appropriate actions.

The same for the other roles.

You of course will need to have a user with Administrative Security Role to manage all of this.

    Hope this helps.

if any one still looking for answer for this, best way to do this install level up extension for dynamics 365 (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/level-up-for-dynamics-365/bjnkkhimoaclnddigpphpgkfgeggokam?hl=en) and go to impersonate tab (see screen print below)
