I'm sure this is obvious to somebody but I'm baffled. Out of the box, Dynamics Business Central Sales Order and Purchase Order reports have a repeating control to display the relevant P/O lines (or S/O... I'll stick with Purchase orders as I'm sure it's the same process).
The control (#NAV: /Purchase_Header/Purchase_line) is in a table row. The table row has what appears to be padding or some form of 'indent' at the top and bottom of the contained fields (i.e. the item Description, Qty, UOM etc). Each 'row' is a minimum of 7.5mm tall. If a cell (i.e. the description) wraps it wraps normally (there's no 'gap between the rows of text), so it's appearing more like a paragraph setting (i.e. 6pt before and 6pt after the text).
I've checked settings like "paragraph" and nothing is obvious (there's nothing I can see that is affecting the table).
The only work-around is to create a new table and drag the controls into it, which works perfectly - but I'm not that excited about having to go and 'fix' all the other reports in business central.
Surely I'm not the first person to come across this issue. Does anybody know where the setting is that's causing the table to have the additional 'space' at top and bottom of the cell?
Appreciate anybody's help out there.
Cheers
Hello,
Feel free to raise this to Microsoft support. I think you are looking at RDLC development in standard Dynamics 365 BC?
Thanks.
