Hi:

Everywhere possible in Business Central, I have told it to use Backward for the "Flushing Method".

But, in new Firm Planned Production Orders, it defaults to the setting Pick + Manual.

Why?

What does your item card for the finished item have as the Flushing Method

Your item card may be updated but you should double check your stockkeeping units (SKUs) as they won't automatically update if you update your item card.

You can look at any item card you've created and look for the SKU by selecting Related > Warehouse > Stockkeeping Units:

Then double check the flushing method on the SKU level.

If you have a lot of SKUs that need updating you can search for Create Stockkeeping Unit and update/create SKU settings in a batch process so you don't have to do it manually.
