Import ADP RUN Payroll Transactions Issue

I have downloaded an IIF file from ADP RUN. - This is my first payroll import.

When I try to import the file into a General Journal I get the error "The field in line 6 with index 7 does not exist. The data could not be retrieved."

Here's Line 6  -> SPL GENERAL JOURNAL P/R Tax Expense-S/S Medicare 153.00 01/28/2021

There are only 5 fields here (tab delimited - I've looked at the tabs)

Anyone any ideas???

Simon

    After more trial and error it looks like the import expects the ADP IIF file to have 2 more fields on each SPL record, the second of those fields becomes the Description in the journal.

    Is this a bug in Business Central?  Or a bug in ADP?

    Hello,

    If you think that this is a bug, feel free to raise it to Microsoft via your csp or partner.

    Thanks.

    I have logged this first with ADP.  My gut feel is that this is their issue.

    Hello,

    If you are deploying the APP ADP Workforce NOW Outbound Integration, yes you should check with ADP first. Your gut is correct.

    Hope this helps.
