Duplicate Detection Job ... don't see all entities

In an attempt to create a new duplicate detection job, on the "Select records" dialog of the New Duplicate Detection Job screen, the Look For drop-down only displays three entities.  I have over 70, and one in particular I know has Duplicate Detection turned on at the entity level is not appearing in this list.  I must be missing a switch somewhere.

Also, is there a way to have a rule that runs only by the job; not by on create?

Thanks!

    Hi Debra,

Regarding the entities not showing; even though you've enabled duplicate detection at the entity level, did you happen to set up duplicate detection rule and publish the rule (Go to Settings > Data Management > Duplicate Detection Rules)? If you don't have an entity with a rule set up and published, it won't show up in the "Look For" section.

I'm trying to get clarification on the second question. Are you trying to ask to have the duplicate detection run on its own without having you create a new job to run it every time?

    Regards,

    David

    Hi Debra,

In addition to that if you will uncheck this option it won't run on create or update.

    Thank you!  That worked.

The problem with turning that off is it applies to *all* duplicate detecton jobs.  Hoping in the future there is a way to configure this at the entity level.
