StateCode vs StatusCode

Hi guys,

Any clues of the different between StateCode and StatusCode? Thanks.

    To add to Andrii's reply, for most customisable entities you can add additional statuscode values (which will be linked to a given statecode), but you cannot change the statecode values

    Hello,

    So StateCode is main between two mentioned. It contains state of current record. Usually it has 2 values - Active/Inactive but couple of system entities contain 3 states (like Lead, Opportunity e.t.c.) and StatusCode is actually description for the StateCode.
