Differences between using Single Company and Multi-Company in Dynamics 365 SCM

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well!

We are implementing D365 for our client and we've chosen to go for multi-company, so my question is: what are the impact of using multi-company in D365 SCM and what are the differences between using single company and multi-company in terms of setup and configurations ?

    Thank you Billur Samdancioglu, this documentation was very useful for us to make our decision: we're having 2 legal entities with different owners, 2 different ledger and accounting information.

    Thank you Nuno Maia. I'd like to have information about the impact of creating 2 legal entities: which information can be shared, which infomartion must be configured at the legal entity level?

    *impact on Procurement and sourcing module: workflows, number sequences, parameters

    *impact on inventory management

    *impact on master data: products, vendors
