Hi Guys,

I have one custom business process flow in Lead entity with 2 stages. I want to kick off another process flow in opportunity entity upon qualifying a lead. Currently it has to be manually kicked off from switch process. Can someone please guide me on this asap.

Hi Rajkumar, thanks for the link but this is not what I want at all. I need to make the switch of the process (opportunity process) automatically once I qualify from my custom lead process. not manually by clicking on switch process. Besides, my lead process flow is custom with 2 stages not the out of the box 4 stages.

    Hi,

so you want system to help to automatically switch the process, am i right?

if yes, you can build a workflow to do that.

    www.powerobjects.com/.../using-workflows-to-switch-between-business-process-flows-automatically

you can check the condition based on the a field called "originatingleadid"  in opportunity  , from here you know this opportunity is qualified from lead if there is a value.

Thanks this is a helpful link. Actually in my organisation it used to work automatically a week ago but not working now. I could not find a relationship and nor a relevant workflow. Do you have any idea what can be the cause ?

    Hi ,

Could you please double check in settings --> Customization --> process area , may be your workflow is not ruining.
