i need to develop a plug in to get value from one entity and set them to another entity.( text fields only)

i need to add sum the value every time i call if and i need to update the base field from where i am getting the value.

Hi Hemanth,

It sounds very easy - you should be able to do that without any issue.

also i am not sure of the relation but did you see if you can use a workflow or any other out of the box feature.

Hi,

It looks like you are looking for a sum of the field which can be achieved by creating a rollup field on the parent.
