One instance of Dynamics - separation of user data based on country- possible?

Hi All, Can we have one instance of Dynamics for 2 countries and still be able to segregate data based on country of origin?
So is there any way to identify a record based on its location or origin? If yes, do we need coding for that or its simple?

    You can use a combination of business units and security roles to segment data in Dynamics CRM. Users would be assigned to business units (Country A and Country B) and then given permissions to only see records in their own business unit.
     
    When the data comes into play, the owner of the record (and the owning business unit) determine who can see each record. If you have rules defined, you could set the owner of the record based on a field value (such as country) to automatically assign it to the correct business unit.
     
     
    I strongly recommend reading up on the security model for Dataverse and see how it can apply to your requirement. Best of luck!
