Hi everyone.
I know there is no official support for gmail but I have looked everywhere and cant get an answer from anyone. People reporting that you can set up email integration. I will live with no tasks or calendar integration. Just need to get email working.
I have not set up the Dynamics or Email router. My Predecessor did, I have since configured Email router to the best of my ability it is sending test emails but that's all it does. When I am within Dynamics if I go to create new email I have lock next to recipient.
There are also errors poping up in the server manager
#26234 - The Email Router service could not process a provider work item using assembly: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailProviders.dll and class: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.Pop3PollingMailboxProvider. I have the same question (0)Gmail should be supported with the email router I do believe. It is supported for server side sync. technet.microsoft.com/.../dn531050.aspx
However, it looks like there is a failure obtaining necessary values from the mailbox. I would open a support case for this.
