Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a report in D365 that is able to show me the consumption of a Raw Material (example) in all the Raw materials & Spare parts for a given period?

Hi Suresh,

Can you tell us what Dynamics 365 application this question is related to? There are several different solutions in the Dynamics 365 family. Is your question related to Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management or Business Central?

What exact details are you expecting on a consumption report?

Hi Suresh,

If you are referring to D365 F&O, please try the below options -

Inventory Transactions Report:

Navigate to Inventory management > Inquiries and reports > Transactions.

Use filters such as Physical Date or Financial Date to specify the period.

Apply criteria related to raw materials and spare parts to get detailed consumption data.

Production Control Reports:

Go to Production control > Inquiries and reports > Production orders.

Select the relevant production orders and view the consumption details for raw materials used in production.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Consumption:

Navigate to Product information management > Bills of materials > BOM lines.

Use the Setup and Step consumption tabs to calculate and report material consumption based on formulas and production requirements

These reports can help you track and analyze the consumption of raw materials and spare parts efficiently.
