How can I quickly add multiple products to a price list with identical discount from list settings?

I have an out of the box CRM online and have created a number of products which currently are on my master price list.

I want to create another price list that includes the same products with a different discount that is the same for each product.

It looks like a lot of manual labor - is there a way to add the products en masse?

thanks,

J.

You can use CRM data import wizard to import products into CRM system.

    Please check

    thanks, Mahadeo,

unfortunately, I already have the products in CRM, I just want to add them en bloc to a new price list with the same discount from list price for all.

I don't see the import wizard on the OOB view of the price list I'm using, nor on the product view I'm using, so this doesn't look to be a solution for either approach (1 - add price lists to products, 2 - add products to price list).

It looks like I may need to do some javascript to automate either one of these operations.

    thanks all the same,

    J.

    John,

You can import the Price List Item.

The things you need to do is you create a new Price List.

The Price List Item is the entity that connecting Price List and Product.

See this link for your reference:

    rc.crm.dynamics.com/.../importpricelist.aspx

There is a quite similar situation want to create many price list item from many products

    John,

"I don't see the import wizard on the OOB view of the price list I'm using, nor on the product view I'm using, so this doesn't look to be a solution for either approach (1 - add price lists to products, 2 - add products to price list)."

If you cannot find the template import wizard there, you can

    Download the data template here:

Go to Settings --> Data Management --> Template for Data Imports

    and choose Price List Item

As well for the discount and discount list.

You can see the older post if meet your current circumstance

    Hope this can help you!

    Thank you.

    thanks - this helped me.

    I exported my master list

Then exported a price list item template

Then copied the product names from the master list to the template, and filled out identical entries in the other columns of the template, including the name of the price list I wanted to create/edit, which I then imported.

I hit a snag because the PL I wanted to edit was already partially complete which led to some failures being reported on the import, but it was pretty clear what had happened and how I could fix it.

    Hi John,

Ok great to hear my answer (the price list item template) can help you, thank you.

In the future if you have any problem finding a template for other entity, you can use the same way, download the template...

In the Price List Item, you only need like Existing Price List, Existing Product, and Unit, Amount, any mandatory field.

And I think you can also use the same thing to import the discount.

With this, you can export import  easily multiple products with identical price list and plus the discount.

If you find my answer is helpful, please help to verify to help the others.

    Thank you.
