CRM 2013 Lock Icon on Form Fields

Currently, a lock icon appears on form fields. Although, I understand their purpose, I would like for find a supported way to remove them even if the field is read-only. On forms with many read-only fields, imported read-only fields, they make the form look littered with pad lock icons. Visually, it is unattractive.

Unfortunately there wouldn't be a real supported way to remove the icons as there isn't an option to turn them off while still maintaining the read-only level. A complicated work around might be to hide the fields is they are meant to be read-only and then show HTML web resources with the data in their place.
