Installing Power BI Again

Hi:

I had already had the latest version of Power BI Desktop on my laptop.  But, I didn't realize that.

So, I installed Power BI Desktop on my laptop again.

I, then, opened a .pbix file that I created two months ago that pulls data from Business Central.  Next, I refreshed it.

Now, the report does not display data.

Why not, and how do I fix this?

    Hi, Is there any error message? It seems that the Power BI is not connected to BC Data.

    Please check the Get Data setting again.

    I did check Get Data.  All it wants to do is pull in a new set of the same tables.

    I simply restored a backup of the report from before I conducted the installation.  That solved the problem.

    It's very disappointing that Power BI technology is not more user-friendly.
