Stored Procedure Error

I've seen this type of error a couple of times before, but am not sure what causes it - 'The stored procedure glGetNextJournalEntry returned the following results: DBMS: -127, Microsoft Dynamics GP: 0'.

I can run a trace in SQL, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to when this occurs.  Has anyone seen these types of errors before?

We just had this happen in our system, we will use this article to help in resolving the issue. In our case the users password expired while they were in GP, and it appears that they tried to post the batch while in that state. I am posting this in case it can help others identify the cause. We will try to resolve this without clearing the tables, and if we can I will post our actions.

For us, I had the user who was trying to post the batch reset their password in the session they were in. I then had them log out of GP and then back into the system. The user was then able to post the batch without any errors.
