Business Portal Administration

I am trying to setup Business Portal 5.1 (SP2) on SharePoint Foundation.  I can't find the Business Portal Administration section under http://myserver/bp -> Site Actions > Site Settings.  I feel like I am missing something obvious.  Any suggestions are appreciated.  Thanks.

    GLW,

It should be as simple as going to the BP home page and then Site Actions > Site Settings.

If Business Portal Administration is not available there, was there install issues?

    Thanks

I'm having the same problem.  I also believe I should be seeing an administration tab along with all of my tabs that correspond to GP series (serieses?).  Did you ever get this fixed?

I did have one problem in the web services install, where the site http://sqlserv:48620/DynamicsGPWebServices/ returns a 405 error.  I also had common containment errors in the event log, I'll let you know if fixing common containment helps out with my administration menus.

Nathan and Rob, thank you both for your replies.

Nathan, I am not getting the 405 error on the web service.  I see a "You have created a service..." Service page.  I'm curious if you have learned anything more since your post on 9/13.  I have just started working on this again, did a clean install, and still do not see the Business Portal Administration section.

Rob, I did not see any errors during installation.  Is there any place other than the servers event viewer where I could see install error messages?

    Thanks,

    John

What BP modules did you install?

If you only installed KPIs, there is no Admin section.  Security has to be done under both SharePoint people & groups & webservices security console.

@glw run a repair on web services.  You may also need to update Web Services to R2.

    Re: Business Portal Administration

We just did the core install in terms of BP modules, so it sounds like I'm looking for something that doesn't exists based on Nathan's comments.  I changed some security settings on the app pool and things seem to be working now.  Thanks for the help.
